Don't let the name fool you, these deep dish are not thick doughy crusted gooey messes. This deep dish has a delicate thin crust, layered with cheese and topped with a chunky tomato sauce. It is cooked by you in its own 9 inch pan.
Options for this release: Plain Cheese, Sausage, Bacon, and Spinach. If you haven't tried the sausage, I highly recommend it!
Thin crust with sweet tomato sauce & sorta circular-ish
Like our deep dish, we have prepared a variety of thin crust pizzas for this release. Plain cheese, Sausage, Pepperoni, and Veggie (spinach and mushroom).
These might fall under the 'flatbread' category at a restaurant. I use the same thin crust as our Pub pizza but take a notch up the fancy scale. I've experimented with these as appetizers recently and they have received high marks. Two options here:
PESTO base, sliced cherry tomato, light mozzarella & parmesan cheese, and bacon!
If you have not tried this salad, it pairs perfectly with my pizzas. It consists of chopped romaine lettuce, sliced grape tomatos, white mushrooms, bacon, black olives (optional), blue cheese, and topped with a sweet Italian dressing (on the side).
